Culture : Ecuador is a ethnically diverse The largest ethnic group in Ecuador is Mestizo (a term used in Latin America to describe mixed heritage or descent).  Making up around 65% of the population. Indigenous (Sometime known as Red Indians) make up 35% of the population. Food:  Ecuadorian cuisine varies from region to region.  A popular street food in mountainous regions is hornado, consisting of potatoes served with roasted pig. Ecuadorian cuisine traditionally consists of two dishes, a soup and a rice platter

Religion   Approximately 95% of Ecuadorians are Roman Catholic

The economy of  Ecuador is rich in agriculture Its greatest natural export is crude oil. Other exports include petroleum, fish, shrimp, timber and gold. .

Things to do 

Visit Banos The town of Mother Nature’s hot tub
Situated at the bottom of Tungurahua, (one of Ecuador’s most active volcanoes). Banos is an increasingly established tourist destination for relaxing hot spring visits to the eponymous thermal mineral pools. The easiest volcano-heated pool to visit is Las Piscinas de la Virgen.

Take a walk on the clouds
A cloud forest, also called a fog forest, is a generally tropical evergreen moist forest known by a persistent, frequent or seasonal low-level cloud cover, usually at the canopy level. Some of the reserves with a cloud include Bellavista Cloud Forest Reserve, Reserva Maquipucuna, and Reserva Los Cedros take a day trip or camping trip in the forest.
