Weather: London has a cool climate. The average temperature in London is 10.4 °C (51 °F). The warmest average high temperature is 22 °C (72 °F) in July. The coolest average min/ low temperature is 2 °C (36 °F) in January & February.

Culture : London is a very Multi cultural city. Based on 2009 estimates 59% of the population in London is White British, Indians making up 6% of the population followed by Pakistanis 2.8% and Bangladeshis at 2.2%.Black African making up 5.3% of London population. 4% of London’s Population are  Black Caribbean. 1.8% Chinese population in London. Food:  With thousands of restaurants in London. You are never more than a couple of steps away from tasting any part of the worlds cuisines. From your traditional English restaurants from the Far East to Africa the options are limitless.

The most popular sport in London is football hosting 5 of the premier league football clubs including Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham. London is the only city in the world to host the summer Olympics three times. 1908. 1948 and 2012. Rugby and Cricket are also two well known sports played in London.

Languages:  The official language of London is English Alongside the rest of England.

Religion   58% of the population in London are Christians. 16% Indentify themselves as having no Religion,  8.5% Muslim and 4.5% are Hindus. This is according to the 2001 census.

The economy  of  London is one of the Largest in the world. Finance is the Largest Industry in London being the financial centre for international business. London is one of the three ‘command centres’ alongside New York and Tokyo. 85% of the workforce works in the service sector. Tourism is also one or London prime industry.

Things to do 

Visit the British Museum
Considered one of the greatest museums in the world. With a huge collection of human history and culture.  Admission is free. The British Museum holds the largest collection of Egyptian Artefacts outside of Egypt. Other collections include Greek and Roman Artefacts, Paintings and Drawings.

Visit Buckingham Palace

Enjoy the Nightlife of the West End
Home of theatres, hosting the world famous film premieres, restaurants and club. Leicester Square the hub of nightlife in the West End.

London Eye
The tallest Ferris Wheel in Europe. It was the tallest Ferris wheel in the world until 2006. Located in the bank of River Thames in the borough of Lambeth.
