We love  Spain for:  Being the 2nd largest tourist destination

Weather: There are three main climates in Spain including Mediterranean climate and the oceanic climate which is in the Northern quarter of the country. The temperature of the capital Madrid range of average monthly temperatures of 19 °C. The warmest average max/ high temperature is 33 °C (91 °F) in July. The coolest average min/ low temperature is 0 °C (32 °F) in January. The Canary Islands have a subtropical climate.

Culture : 88% of the population are native Spanish with 12% of the population from other backgrounds. Latin Americans make up 39% of immigration to Spain, 16% of North Africans , 15% of Eastern Europeans, and 4% from Sub-Saharan Africa  Food:  Spanish cuisine is  inspired by Mediterranean roots. A popular Spanish dish is paella, a rice based dish mixed with vegetables and seafood. Other dishes include gazpacho a cold soup.

The most popular sport in Spain by far is football hosting two of the most successful football clubs in the world.  Real Madrid and FC Barcelona.  Basketball, tennis and more recently formula one racing are also popular sports in Spain.

Languages:  The official language of Spain is Spanish.  

Religion  76% of the population in Spain are Roman Catholic with 13% having no religion and 2.3% of the population being Muslim.  

The economy  of Spain until recently is one of the most vibrant economies in the European Union. The Spanish Tourism industry has grown to be the 2nd largest tourist destination in the world.

Things to do 

Enjoy a Tapas
Do as the Locals do and enjoy a Tapas (mix of appetizers and starters) usually served in a bar with a drink.

Watch a bull fight
Not as popular as it was before due to Animal cruelty awareness. However this iconic sport of a man waving a red flag in front of a bull can still be observed in many of Spain’s traditional cities.

Visit Seville
The town of Seville home to spectacular architecture and hosting a beautiful Cathedral.

Visit one of the Islands
Tenerife Mallorca Gran Canaria Lanzarote, Ibiza, Fuerteventura, Menorca, La Palma
